- Title: Technical Growth Marketer
- Location: Ann Arbor, MI (preferred; remote considered)
- Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000 salary plus equity

Position Overview
You will be successful if you proactively prospect, become skilled at problem identification and prioritization, and clearly communicate how Pursuit can build our clients’ pipelines, close deals, and improve GTM productivity. You will be accountable for a quota, and will initially report to the CEO. Pursuit’s founders have successfully built a startup and sold it for $200M; we move fast and adapt continuously. What you’ll be doing
This role blends programmatic outbound marketing, AI-driven content generation, and SEO strategy. Key responsibilities include:
- Programmatic Outbound Marketing
- Use Pursuit’s product for outbound marketing campaigns.
- Identify target accounts and key contacts using tools like Apollo.
- Build automated, high-quality outreach sequences that deliver relevant opportunities to prospects on a set cadence.
- AI-Powered Content & Outreach
- Identify and engage with local government-focused journalists to distribute programmatic news articles.
- Leverage AI to generate data-driven stories and get them published in key media outlets.
- Manage and grow a network of Twitter accounts that publish timely, politically balanced government-related content.
- SEO & Data-Driven Outreach
- Optimize entity and contact pages to enhance search visibility.
- Track and analyze visitor behavior to trigger targeted outreach campaigns.
- Explore building contractor pages, contract pages, and federal data integrations to enhance Pursuit’s ecosystem.
What we’re looking for
- 1-5 years in marketing, sales development, or consulting.
- Strong analytical work, outbound sales, and/or marketing background.
- High technical proficiency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc).
- Hands-on experience with outbound prospecting tools (Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
